After 26 years in the metal building construction industry, Oscar and his wife, Becky Riddle, founded OBR Metal Building and Components as a family owned and operated business, in 2017. In September 2019, their daughter, Kelsey, joined the team after several years of teaching elementary in the Dallas, TX area. In June of 2021, Ross McLelland joined OBR as Sales Manager.

We sell metal building products for residential and commercial construction in the Floresville, TX and surrounding areas. We service the entire state of Texas and have sold Pre-Engineered buildings packages as far away as West Virginia, Utah, and South Carolina.  

Since we opened our doors in 2017, we have doubled our employees and added approximately 10,000 square feet onto our original building to house our new roll-former so we can now run R Panel and OBR Hi-Core corrugated we have a Roll-former for Snap-loc standing seam panel and a Board and Batten panel as well, for all of your metal building projects. In 2025 we have added a Purlin Roll-former.  With great pride, our employees have become family and many of our customers have become more than customers, they are our friends and together we have helped both their business and our business grow.

We are open to the public and service homeowners, DIY’ers, contractors and general contractors. Projects range from carports, hay barns, horse barns, shops, family gymnasiums, barndominiums, churches and pre-engineered metal buildings of any size to suit your needs. We carry a large selection of steel products, metal building materials, sheet metal, angle iron, square tubing, metal building insulation, accessories and more.
